This PGA violet suture features a reverse cutting needle (comparable to PS-2, P-12, and PC-31) designed for sharp, precise penetration without tearing tissue. Made from the same material as Vicryl™ suture, this long-lasting, absorbable suture retains 65% of its tensile strength after two weeks and is fully absorbed within 90 days.
Available in 4-0 and 5-0 sizes, this violet Polyglycolic Acid (PGA) suture ensures optimal knotting strength and holding power while providing a smooth, trauma-free passage through tissue, making it ideal for a wide range of surgical applications.


Features:

  1. Keeps its strength in 14-21 days post-surgery.
  2. Very high knot-pull tensile strength.
  3. Good knot security due to special surface finish.
  4. Needle is silicone coated to minimize tissue trauma.
  5. Ultra-thin point needle tip for smoother tissue penetration with minimum pressure needed.
  6. The needle diameter and suture thread have similar thickness to eliminate any drag from needed to the thread.
  7. Needles are made from very strong surgical grade stainless steel to keep the shape and minimizing the chances of breakage.

Dental implant surgeries combined with bone grafting, Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR).
